The Jets overcame penalty trouble against the Habs to win it 4-3 and improve to 2-1-0 in the pre-season.

Notable:
Couple of Manitoba Moose regulars had an impact courtesy of goals by Evan Polei and Cole Maier who helped the Jets to a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes.
Lots of penalties took a game that Winnipeg was in control of at 5 on 5 and opened it up in the final frame. At one point the Jets were being outshot 14-1 in the 3rd period.
It wasn’t even clear as to whether Jets 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert would play tonight. He did in fact make his Jets exhibition debut scoring a goal, adding an assist while looking fast and quite crafty out on the ice. And apparently his moniker is “Big Bad Brad” as per Nate Schmidt in his post-game comments.
Speaking of Nate “don’t call me Bate” Schmidt (see here to understand reference) he scored the game-winning goal with seconds to go in the 3rd period. Given his media availability yesterday is there any question that this was the way the game was going to end?
