Notable:
It may have been a more veteran heavy Jets club but the more noticeable players were the ones that aren’t necessarily household names.
Moose leading points getter from last season Mikey Eyssimont continued to show his tenacious play which led to a nice tip in goal and additional ice time. He had fifth most ice time amongst forwards tonight (behind Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers and Wheeler) and had 2:25 of power play time. He signed in Winnipeg for a reason. He saw/sees an opportunity.
Jets 2020 2nd Daniel Torgersson scored twice (and almost had a hat trick) but was also noticeable throughout the game.
The team wanted more offence from the defence and they got that with Ville Heinola finishing off a nifty Adam Lowry pass.
Saku Maenalanen also was noticeable for the Jets.
If you have a need for speed then watching Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers on the same line should fulfill that need.
Speaking of Kyle Connor he finished the night with one goal and two assists.
