Players on NHL Tryout Contracts

The Globe and Mail’s James Mirtle lists players on NHL Tryout Deals ( the list is sure to get a little longer in the coming weeks as teams continue to evaluate their in house talent. I wonder if Freddy Brathwaite will get another look with the Atlanta Thrashers?)

Here is a list of players on NHL Try- out deals ( In my opinion, Berard and Sopel have the best shots of sticking with a team but are both coming off inconsistent seasons). I would personally love to see Jim Dowd land a 4th line job with the Flyers, but they may instead opt for a youngster like a Ben Eager or Steve Downie. Esche will end up in Wilke-Barre Scranton of the AHL)
