Pierre LeBrun says nothing imminent with Winnipeg Jets RFAs Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun was on Leafs Lunch on TSN 1050 Radio today and was asked about the remaining big three RFAs (Patrik Laine, Kyle Connor and Mikko Rantanen of the Colorado Avalanche) now that the Flames have signed Matthew Tkachuk.

“I don’t think any of those three are imminent right now after doing a bit of checking here this morning.”

“I think if and when Laine signs I predict a two-year bridge.  Which will be a little different than everyone else but that’s if they can find the right number and I don’t think they’re there now at all.”

“On the Kyle Connor front I think most of the discussion has been more on the long term front with him.  I think around six years but again clearly not on the same page in terms of AAV.”
