OTB: Martin Brodeur is human and Ryan Miller skates

What team beat writers are saying this afternoon:

  • Travis Moen has nothing but good things to say about the Ducks organization.  The Ducks treat their players first class.
  • Ryan Miller took the ice for the Sabres today.  Good sign, but wasn’t in full pads.
  • Brandon Sutter has been returned to Albany of the AHL by the Hurricanes.  Getting more seasoning.
  • Jack Johnson’s play is improving on the Kings’ back-end.  Terry Murray is doing a solid job of developing the young talent in Los Angeles.
  • Martin Brodeur admits being emotionally drained from breaking the all-time wins record in Montreal on Saturday.  He is human, even if he doesn’t play like it very often.
  • Love him or hate him, Sean Avery has made a difference in NYR.  He’s certainly proven me wrong so far.
  • Jose Theodore will start tonight for the Capitals.  Pothier may play, Fedorov seems doubtful.
