On the Beat: The Sutters are coming

What beat writers are saying this afternoon:

  • J.S. Giguere will return to the Ducks lineup tonight in Vancouver.  Nice to see him back with his squad.
  • Derick Brassard is officially out for the season.  What we all expected if you read the morning papers.
  • Brian Rolston is trying to (or not trying to) get used to playing less minutes than usual.  The Devils are playing too well for Sutter to change anything up.
  • The Caps won’t have three key players in the lineup tomorrow night.  Semin and Green just have bad luck.
  • The Stars lines from practice today.  Big game against Toronto tomorrow.
  • Another Sutter will show his face in Alberta.  There are so many of them it is way too difficult to keep track.
