What team beat writers are saying this Thanksgiving afternoon:

  • Kent Huskins (healthy scratch) is most likely will return to the Ducks’ line-up on Friday.  I’m sure this served as a wake up call for Huskins.
  • Dave Staples gives out his grades for all the Oilers who played in last night’s game versus Kings.  If you are an Oilers fan, last night wasn’t pretty.
  • The Senators play the Leafs tonight, so here are the storylines for tonight’s game from James Gordon.  He does this for every game and I always find it interesting.
  • Here is all information you could want on the abundance of injuries in Capitals land.  It is amazing this team is holding its own with all these key players on the sidelines.

Since there isn’t much more from North America’s fine beat writers, I’ll add in a few other links I found to be interesting this morning:

  • James Mirtle tells us that 52% of the NHL is comprised of Canadians.  Lovin’ the pie charts.
  • If you are sick of Mats Sundin news, then don’t click this linkWow. Is that situation annoying.
  • Power Rankings courtesy of NHL Fanhouse.  Penguins quietly in there at number four and it is well-deserved.
