On the Beat: Gomez returns tonight and third jersey talk

  • The Bruins have unveiled their third jerseys.  Nothing special.
  • Derick Brassard is off to a fantastic start in Columbus, leading the team in both points and plus/minus.  He has really been the reason for Rick Nash’s return to the scoreboard.
  • Rich Chere provides some answers for a number interesting questions regarding the Devils.  Sutter is doing a tremendous job with that group.
  • Scott Gomez will return tonight for the Rangers.  He will play between Drury and Callahan.
  • If you haven’t seen the Lightning’s new third jerseys click here.  I haven’t seen one nice third jersey yet.
