What team beat writers are saying this afternoon:
- Both Erik Christensen and Zach Bogosian were back on the ice for Thrashers’ practice this morning. That is good news for a team that is short on talent/depth.
- Craig Rivet was back on the ice this morning for the Sabres. His injury obviously isn’t serious.
- Mike Heika this the Sean Avery story is far from over. I agree. Really, nothing has been resolved except for the fact that Avery won’t ever play for the Stars again. So there is still that kind of important/big problem of actually getting Avery off of the team’s roster.
- It looks like Scott Clemmensen will get the call tomorrow night versus the Leafs. Sutter must be thinking, why not ride the hot hand?
