  • Todd Bertuzzi is not going to over-analyze his first pre-season game. The sign of a veteran.
  • After vision and concussion problems last season, Matt Cullen feels great and is excited to get into pre-season action.  Certainly good news for the Hurricanes as Cullen is an important part of the team’s power play and will be leaned on more now with the loss of Justin Williams.
  • Jan Hejda on the Blue Jackets power play? Hitchcock is a master motivator, and he isn’t trying to motivate Hejda…
  • Looks like the Lightning are considering holding Vincent Lecavalier out of regular season action.  Unless Lecavalier is 100%, with the Bolts’ offensive depth, I don’t see a reason to rush their best player.
