Jarkko Ruutu was brought to the Senators to add grit and he sure did just that last night in New York. He is going to add the sandpaper that this team so desperately needs.
The Coyotes already have their top-four defense pretty much set in stone. This team lost Ballard and Boynton so it will be interesting to see how well the replacements (Hale, Sauer) are able to compensate for those two significant losses.
Kyle McLaren is an unhappy camper at Sharks camp. The Sharks will be looking to peddle him if the right taker comes along.
