  • Did Teemu Selanne ask for a three-year deal?  Can’t quite tell who is telling the truth here.
  • Aaron Portzline doesn’t think Nikita Filatov will make the Blue Jackets out of camp.  He just really hasn’t had enough opportunity to prove himself one way or another.
  • The Wings will be honoring Alex Delvecchio and Ted Lindsay in the first month of the season.  Certainly two players worthy of this type of honor.
  • Count Jay Pandolfo as one person who wouldn’t be shocked if Claude Lemieux did actually return to the NHL.  I can understand his desire, but when it comes down to it, who is going to sign him? He’s 43.
  • Iain MacIntyre takes his guess at who will be the cuts at Canucks camp.  He appears to be right on point.
  • Here are the Capitals’ line combinations for tonight’s exhibition game versus New Jersey.  Of note, it is Nicklas Backstrom’s first game of the pre-season.
