On 40th anniversary of Dale Hawerchuk signing with Winnipeg the Jets announce initiatives to honour his legacy

40 years ago today in Winnipeg the Jets 1.0 signed their 1st overall pick from 1981 Dale Hawerchuk at Portage and Main.

Today over at True North Square Executive Chairman of the Board for True North Mark Chipman announced a number of initiatives to honour the legacy of Ducky who passed away last year. (You can watch the announcements here).
