OILERS INK HRABAL, FLAMES SIGN CARPENTIER

– According to The Sports Network, Rogers Sportsnet and The Score, The Edmonton Oilers have signed Czech Republic native Josef Hrabal (2003, 11/248) to a two-year entry-level contract.

– TSN and The Score also reported earlier this afternoon that the Calgary Flames signed 2006 4th round draft pick Hugo Carpentier.
