Back on May 1st goalie prospect for Winnipeg Dom DiVincentiis (2022 7th) was named the recipient of the Jim Rutherford Trophy awarded for the Goaltender of the Year.
As we wrote last month he set new records for his North Bay Battalion in wins (36), GAA (2.33) and a save% (.919) and he tied for most shutouts (5) in the league. Was named OHL Goalie of the month in January and March.
The OHL held their awards ceremony at the NHL Hall of Fame where he was presented with his award.
The two Michigan born players will represent their country in Italy.
