Observations of Team Neufeld on day 1 of Winnipeg Jets training camp

There were 27 players scheduled to be on the ice at hockey for all centre to kick off day 1 of Jets training camp but all eyes in the stands were watching to see if unsigned RFA Cole Perfetti would hit the ice with his 27 teammates.

He did not which reflects the fact that his side and Winnipeg do not yet have a new contract in place.

Lines & D Pairs:

What would day 1 of camp be without us overanalyzing lines and D pairs from a group that represents only half the regulars on the team. But this is hockey in a Canadian market so here is how things looked this morning:

Nikita Chibrikov continued his feisty play putting fellow prospect, who is quite a bit larger, Kieron Walton down on the ice.
