  • Matt Cullen was taken out of tonight’s game by the Hurricanes as a precaution, after being hit hard by Nathan Guenin of the Flyers.  The Canes cannot afford to lose another point-scorer up front.
  • Have you seen that Invesco ad with Maurice Richard passing the puck to Gretzky?  Joe Pelletier has the details on it.  I’m already sick of that ad and it isn’t even hockey season yet.
  • More details on the Selanne signing from Eric Duhatschek.  Selanne was in the line-up tonight for the Ducks and looked to be skating as well as ever.
  • Josh Bailey is still at Islanders camp, writes Greg Logan.  It will be interesting to see if Bailey cracks the already young Islanders roster.
