Nightly Hockey Hits: T.J. Oshie out 1-2 weeks

  • Mark Recchi is suiting up in his 1500th game tonightWow.  It is a testament to Recchi’s work ethic and passion for the game that he has been around so long.
  • Kim Johnsson will be out for a couple of weeks with an upper-body injury.  Bigger loss than people may think.  Johnsson can play in all situations and with the Wild’s desire to push the pace, this injury hurts
  • Dany Heatley commented on his contribution to the Dan Snyder Memorial Arena.  I’m sure that wasn’t a hard decision for Heatley.
  • T.J. Oshie will be out 1-2 weeks after undergoing an appendectomyThis young team has enough offense to withstand this injury.
  • Looks like Brian Burke won’t be the owner’s number one guest at GM Place tonight.  Great article.
