- The Hockey News: Jerry Moyes agrees to sell bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes to NHL, deal needs approval. Looks like Mr. Moyes will sell in order to recover some of the massive losses he took from his purchase of the Yotes.
- Fox Sports – Spector: Keep an eye on Kopitar. Since he plays all the way over on the west coast, perhaps that has allowed for him to develop without all the pressure to make his team an instant contender.

- Mile High Hockey: This might not be a fluke. All those people who keep expecting the Avs to crumble at any minute are going to have to wait a bit longer as they continue to roll.
