An interesting story in the Montreal Gazette about the abuse that referees take while working in the minor league system. Tough gig for some of these young refs. I have heard first hand accounts of death threats, and trust me, these kids aren’t in it for the money.

In case you didn’t see the story on TSN, Wild prospect Tyler Cuma is headed to camp with Team Canada Jr. to replace the injured Patrick Wiercioch. I saw him at Wild camp this summer, and he is a steady defender who moves well. Very good choice.
