NHLPA Player Poll votes Winnipeg as third best ice in the NHL

The NHLPA put out their annual player poll which canvased 566 players about topics across the board including “If you need to win one game, who is the one goalie you would want on your team?” or “Which player do you wish you could shoot like?” etc etc. No Jets players were on the individual lists.

Given the winter we just had this one shouldn’t come as much of a surprise but the folks who make the ice at Canada Life should be happy as they were regarded as having the best ice by 12.2% of the poll respondents.

That’s third highest in the league behind 1st place Montreal (39.6%) and 2nd place Edmonton (13.7%).

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
