NHL Morning Papers (Wednesday Edition)

Here are the morning papers for Wednesday the 27th of August:

• The Flames introduced their off-season acquisitions to the fans and media on Tuesday, writes Jean Lefebvre of the Calgary Herald.  One of those new acquisitions, Todd Bertuzzi, just wants a chance to succeed in Calgary, explains Eric Francis of the Calgary Sun.
• The Senators will be holding their rookie camp from September 13-15.
• League executives just want Mats Sundin to make a decision already, so they can get on with their own business, writes Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun.  Even though a decision has yet to be made, apparently Mats Sundin is staying in shape back home in Sweden.
• The Predators have signed 2007 draft pick Nick Spaling to an entry-level contract.
• Coyotes youngster Martin Hanzal, who is recovering from back surgery, is hoping to get back on the ice in the next week.  Mikkel Boedker, the Coyotes first round draft pick from last June’s draft, is hoping to make a good impression in his first training camp.  Meanwhile, Derek Morris isn’t overly concerned with the worries about the Coyotes’ defense next season.
• Brad Boyes may have had one of the quietest 43 goal seasons in recent memory, writes Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Dispatch.
• Apparently Cliff Fletcher is happy with the way the he has remodelled the Leafs.
