• While the Red Wings did lose last night, last night’s game did bring some excitement to the Finals. Last night was Sidney Crosby’s coming out party, writes George Sipple. • The Penguins played like they needed last night’s game, writes Dave Molinari. In positive news for Penguins fans, Evgeni Malkin was a lot sharper last night. Sidney Crosby gave the NHL exactly what it wanted on Wednesday night. The Red Wings are most certainly mortal, opines Bob Smizik.
