NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman says league is focused on a Jan.1 start for next season

Originally the NHL was targeting a December 1st start for the 2020-21 season with a mid November start for training camp.

Tonight to kick off the 2020 Draft NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman says the league is focused on a January 1st start for next season.

There was talk earlier today that the NHL is still targeting a full 82 game season which seems difficult even with a condensed schedule.
