  • For those who haven’t had enough of Stanley Cup Final predicitons, Stu Hakel of Slap Shot goes around the web for predictionsBest was the guy who used the Billy Madison video I wonder who that was.
  • Greg Wyshynski of Puck Daddy gives us 20 of the most compelling stories in the Cup finals.  Not sure I agree with the Conn Smythe consensus.
  • Fear the Fin looks back in time at the history of the Sharks 1st round draft selections. They didn’t go back far enough.  Lets not forget the first ever San Jose draft pick, picked 2nd overall, Foxwarren, Manitoba’s own Pat Falloon.  Interestingly Eric Lindros was drafted 1st overall that year, Scott Niedermayer was drafted 3rd and Peter Forsberg drafted 6th overall.
  • Adrian Datar of All Things Avs details part of an interview that Mike Brophy got with current Avs Head Coach Tony Granato.   Good for Granato to be the better person although that wouldn’t be difficult based on the way the Avs have handled the situation.
  • From Eyes on the Prize we hear from Bob Gainey who says that a big part of the hold up for coach is the lack of ownership in Montreal.  Things were once so promising and now look kinda bleak.
  • Jason Gregor over at Oilersnation had an opportunity to sit down with Head Coach Pat QuinnGood interview.  Quinn & Co. are going to have the Oilers firing next season.
  • Now that their season is over, the guys at Canes Country wonder which free agents will stay and which will go.  As Richard indicated earlier they need to add one solid defenceman.
  • On Frozen Blog discusses the re-kindling of the rivalry between Detroit and Chicago.  You definetly notice the difference as you drive down I94.
  • Matt Kalman over at The Bruins Blog gives Stephane Yelle his report cardSeems like a fair grade.
