New York Islanders dominate the Winnipeg Jets in all facets of game through 40 winning 6-3

The Jets were supposed to rebound from a poor effort on Thursday against the Devils but instead they lay an absolute egg with the Islanders dominating the game for the first 40 minutes which allowed them to build a 6-1 lead and they’d go on to win 6-3.

Notable:

Career high for goals for Mason Appleton who gets his 13th of the season.

Not that he’s gonna care after this game but Josh Morrissey hits 50 assists for the second consecutive season. That was his 300th NHL point.

Cole Perfetti broke a 23-game goalless streak with his 15th of the season.
