If timing is everything, Petr Nedved’s Rangers-related career continues to amount to a lot of nothing.
The affable and highly-skilled center told reporters in his native Czech Republic yesterday that he wants to give playing in the NHL one more shot. And that he has an agreement with the Rangers to attend training camp – an arrangement he concedes is a long shot because it comes with no guarantee of a roster spot.

Wow, Petr Nedved wants back in the NHL. This came out of nowhere. To be honest, I don’t see him cracking the Rangers roster but no harm in trying.
He's closing in on his first game since January 13th.
