Moose OT win over Senators gives them a weekend series sweep

The Moose won the first game of their series with Belleville which is a bit of departure as they have been losing the first game of a series and winning the second. They were full value on Saturday for Teddy Bear Toss game which saw them win 6-2 over the Senators.

Lineup news:

Only a couple of lineup changes from yesterday with goalie Oskari Salminen getting the crease from Arvid Holm and Colin Bilek making his AHL debut.

Moose lineup:

Malott – Toninato – Limoges
Polei – Meireles – Jones
Torgersson – Nikkanen – Reichel
Bilek – Maier – Boland

Chisholm – Gawanke
Sautner – Stewart
Lundmark – Bauer

Salminen
Holm

Notable:

Manitoban Ashton Sautner picked a good day to get his first of the season to open the scoring.

Slow and steady has been the development of Jets 2019 2nd rounder Simon Lundmark who scored top corner to tie the game in the 3rd period.

Leading goal scorer Jeff Malott was the OT hero scoring his 13th of the season, which was his fifth goal in the last four games.

Moose sweep the Senators this weekend with the OT win and improve to 14-7-2-1 on the season.
