Tonight in the Kendall Hockey Classic in Anchorage, AK perennial WCHA doormat team UAA is playing the mighty Michigan Wolverines from Ann Arbor, Michigan at 7:07 Alaska time (10:07 Central Standard time). Michigan led by future hall of fame coach Red Berenson is a power house team that returns 19 players from last season’s squad that went 29-12-0 and won the CCHA championship on the other side of the ice UAA is a big, slow, lumbering team, with little recognizable talent that finished 9th in the WCHA last season and had a record 14-17-5 and has never won anything.
I predict that UAA will get beat to the puck up and down the ice and will get into penalty trouble as soon as the Seawolves realized they can’t keep up more talented and fleet of foot Michigan Wolverines. Being an early season game the WCHA refs will be out to prove a point and there will be a parade to the penalty box by the UAA squad. You can watch the game by clicking on [this link]
