Lightning coach Barry Melrose, who claims, “I was a better baseball player than a hockey player,” will throw out the first pitch at Tropicana Field before Monday’s game against the Red Sox.

My dad used to have season tickets watching the Winnipeg Jets and a defenseman by the name of Barry Melrose. He used to say that Melrose was a heck of a lot better of a coach than he was a player!  So, I am sure Melrose isn’t too far off with his baseball remark.
