Blackhawks are shopping speedy Martin Havlat ($6 mil, then UFA) to several teams, one of them the Rangers, I’m told by someone familiar with the process. Interesting. Especially if you can land him with a D from Chicago.

Martin Havlat would be an interesting acquisition for the Rangers. He is a supremely talented player, but is always injured. His price tag of $6 million per season is a heavy price to pay for a player that very well might play less than 40 games.
He's closing in on his first game since January 13th.
The 2024 2nd rounder is in Winnipeg where he'll spend the rest of the season…
