Mark Scheifele will play for Canada at the upcoming World Championship

As per Darren Dreger of TSN, Jets top centre Mark Scheifele has agreed to play for Canada at the upcoming World Championship. They will be hosted in Paris, France and Cologne, Germany from May 5th to May 21st, 2017.

Scheifele has worn the Canadian uniform twice at the World Championships for Canada in 2014 and 2016.
