Marc Crawford, the old Canucks coach and most recently gassed by the Los Angeles Kings, has been hired by Hockey Night in Canada. Can Flames fans imagine a broadcast team of former Vancouver TV voice Jim Hughson and former Orcas skipper Crawford doing a Flames telecast? Especially at The Garage?

Along with the hiring of Mike Milbury, Crawford’s hiring makes it two big off-season moves for HNIC.  I’m sure he will have a lot insight to provide the HNIC viewers as he is fresh off coaching in the league and has been as close to the game as possible.

That said, over/under how many times the 1998 shootout mistake gets mentioned this season?
