Manitoba Moose sign Winnipeg Jets draft pick Giovanni Vallati to an ATO

If Jets fans are reading that headline and thinking the name Giovanni Vallati is a familiar one it is because Winnipeg called his name out at the 2018 draft in Dallas in the 5th round.

The left shooting defenceman spent four seasons in the OHL split between Kitchener and Oshawa.  The Jets didn’t sign Valatti by June 1st, 2020 which meant he was eligible to go into the 2020 draft.

Today the Jets AHL affiliate Manitoba announced they had signed Valatti to an amateur tryout offer.
