Manitoba Moose sign two defencemen

More AHL additions for the club based in Manitoba as the Moose are set to announce that they have signed two defenceman:

Chris Martenet to a one-year deal
Šimon Kubícek to a two-year deal.

Martenet is a left shot defenceman from Indianapolis, Indiana who was drafted in 2015 (4th rounder) by the Stars. Martenet spent most of his time in the pros in the ECHL but did play three games for Manitoba in 2021-22 (all on the road).

Kubícek is a right shot defenceman from Jindrichuv Hradec, Czech Rep who spent last season with the Oil Kings of the WHL. He had two prior seasons with Seattle of the WHL but then the undrafted Dman returned to Czech for the 2020-21 season before he joined Edmonton last season.
