Manitoba Moose sign Jets prospect Thomas Milic to an AHL deal

The Moose announced the signing of Jets prospect goalie Thomas Milic to a one-year contract.

The netminder was drafted in the 5th round at the 2023 draft in Nashville. He was coming off winning WHL goalie of the year honours for his play with the Seattle Thunderbirds.

He is still likely be heading to Norfolk, the ECHL affiliate of the Jets/Moose, where he’ll play big minutes given that Manitoba will have two experienced goalies in Oskari Salminen and Collin Delia (provided he gets put on waivers and gets down to the Moose). If Delia doesn’t then Milic could be with the Moose and getting chances to develop in the AHL.
