Another Jets prospect signs an ATO with the Moose. This time it is 2017 7th rounder Skyler McKenzie who signs on the dotted line. In 72 games with the Winterhawks this season he had 47 goals and 40 assists.
This city is certainly becoming home to Winterhawks players. Along with McKenzie the Moose have Chase De Leo and Nic Petan while the Jets have Joe Morrow.
It will be interesting to see if any of these guys that the Moose have signed to ATOs or PTOs get into game action or if they are simply going to practice with a pro team during the playoffs. Along with McKenzie the Moose have signed Jordy Stallard (2016 5th rounder), Jacob Cederholm (2016 4th rounder), C.J. Suess (2014 4th rounder) and Matt Ustaski (2014 7th rounder). In addition the St. Louis Blues who are currently without an AHL franchise assigned one of their prospects, Tanner Kaspick (2016 4th rounder) who is from Brandon to the Moose yesterday.
