I thought the Moose may have planned to call up prospect Jamie Phillips from the ECHL who is currently with the Tulsa Oilers. He will head to Glenn Fallls, NY for the ECHL All-Star game and the Moose have instead signed Garrett Bartus to a professional tryout agreement.
Moose Release:
The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed goaltender Garrett Bartus to a professional tryout agreement.

In 47 career ECHL games, Bartus holds a 21-15-7 record with a 3.07 GAA and 0.902 SV%. Prior to his professional career, Bartus spent four seasons at the University of Connecticut.
Coming out of retirement at 70 to take control of another bench.
