Manitoba Moose sign Dean Stewart to a one-year contract

With all the left side defenceman being added by the organization the Moose got into the act but today they signed right shot defenceman Dean Stewart from nearby Portage la Prairie. He was a 7th rounder of the Coyotes back in 2016 who spent four years at the U. of Nebraska-Omaha.

He turned pro in 2020-21 with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL and then spent last season with the Thunder (27 games) and the Moose (20 games).

His stint with Manitoba including scoring his first AHL goal back in February.
