With the release of Jiri Fronk from his AHL deal yesterday the Moose made some moves adding a familiar face in Dan DeSalvo as well as forward Kale Kessey.

We still don’t have word as to the status of Patrice Cormier or Scott Kosmachuk who both have been out of the lineup.

Moose Release:

The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed forwards Dan DeSalvo and Kale Kessy to professional tryout agreements.

DeSalvo, 24, suited up in 12 games for Manitoba’s ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers, this season registering 13 points (6G, 7A).  The Rolling Meadows, IL native played 17 games for the Moose in 2015-16 and totaled 14 points (5G, 9A).  DeSalvo played the bulk of last season with the Tulsa Oilers where he posted 51 points (16G, 35A) in 55 games.

Kessy, 23, had eight points (3G, 5A) in seven games with Tulsa this season.  Last season saw the 6’3”, 212 lbs left winger tally 12 points (7G, 5A) in 56 games for the Bakersfield Condors.  Over his AHL career, Kessy has 24 points (12G, 12A) and 228 penalty minutes in 127 games.
