Manitoba Moose sign college free agent Dylan Anhorn

On Wednesday Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press mentioned on twitter “that he’s hearing there is mutual interest between the Jets and Dylan Anhorn, one of top college free agents”.

The Alberta product began his NCAA career in 2019-20 at Union College where he spent two seasons (technically three if you include a lost year due to Covid) before the 6’0 left shot defeceman transferred to St. Cloud State for two seasons.

For now he will join the Moose on a one-year deal for the 2024-25 season and an ATO for the rest of the season as they make their push for the playoffs.

I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
