Manitoba Moose make six cuts; training camp roster down to 36

And then there were 36. Today the Moose announced that they had made the following six cuts to their training camp roster:

G – Liam Hughes (Wichita)
D – Ethan Cap (Greenville)
F – Ben Hawerchuk (Reading)
F – Ayden MacDonald (Greenville)
F – Tyler Penner (Utah)
F – Dante Sheriff (Orlando)

Waiver news:

Jansen Harkins, the Jets 2015 2nd rounder who worked his way to the NHL from the Moose, is back with the AHL club after clearing waivers today.

Current Training Camp Roster:

G (3): Salminen, Holm and Cormier

D (11): Kubicek, Stewart, Martenet, Friend, Topatigh, Bauer, Sautner, Lundmark, Gawanke, Chisholm and Oligny*

F (22): Bongiovanni, Boucher, Caron, Johnson, Bilek, Boland, Nikkanen, Lucius, Nardi, Cutler, Jones, Polei, Reichel, Eyssimont, Stenlund, Limoges, Malott, Torgersson, Maier, Meireles, Lambert and Harkins.
