Unlike in the NHL the AHL doesn’t have a salary cap or roster limit although as an organization you’d rather have players playing in the ECHL rather than languishing in the AHL Or you could be releasing them to find opportunities to play if they aren’t in your plans. Manitoba continues to refine their training camp roster as they made another reduction of two players this afternoon:
Colt Conrad
Stelio Mattheos
In this instance the pair of forwards, both of whom are from Manitoba, were released from their professional tryout agreements.
