“That’s it, back to Winnipeg”.
That legendary Simpson quote (at least around these parts) is music to the ears of Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic (2023 5th rounder) who the AHL club of Manitoba announced this afternoon had been recalled by them from Norfolk of the ECHL. Even if it means leaving +6 for -10 degrees Celsius.
He was last with the Moose in mid November when he was recalled from the Admirals and spent eight days with the club before being reassigned on November 20th. He played in four games for Manitoba this season (two as starter, two in relief) and picked up his first AHL win on November 17th in a game against the Senators in Belleville.

He’s had a busy couple of months including being loaned to Team Canada for the Spengler Break during the latter part of December and participating in the ECHL All-Star game. He is 11-3-3 with Norfolk with a 2.45 GAA and a .908 save %.
The Moose are in action tomorrow night against the Wolves.
