Manitoba Moose recall Jussi Olkinuora

Eric Comrie wasn’t at pre-game skate today for Manitoba according to Jim Toth who is a analyst on the Moose broadcasts.  The team announced this afternoon that they are calling up Jussi Olkinuora who has been playing with Tulsa of the ECHL.

The Manitoba Moose hockey club announced today that they have recalled goaltender Jussi Olkinuora from their ECHL affiliate, the Tulsa Oilers.

Olkinuora, 25, has played in 20 games for Tulsa posting a 9-8-2 record with a 2.73 goals against average and a .907 save percentage.

He has also played six games for the Moose this season posting a 5.13 goals against average along with a .864 save percentage.

The Moose host the Charlotte Checkers on Monday, Mar. 28 at the MTS Centre at 7 p.m.
