Manitoba Moose recall Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic from the Norfolk Admirals

The Moose are set to get loose against the Laval Rocket this afternoon at 2 PM and then again tomorrow at 10:30 AM in the first school day game of the year.

When I covered practice on Friday both Moose goalies in Oskari Salminen and Collin Delia were in attendance. I was unable to be at practice on Saturday as it coincided with our Illegal Curve Hockey Show.

However the ECHL transaction page indicated that the Moose had recalled goalie Thomas Milic from the Norfolk Admirals. The Jets prospect is 4-0-1 with a .901 save% & a 2.36 GAA to start his pro career.

Given the fact that Oskari Salminen did media after practice on Saturday it would seem likely that something may be up with netminder Collin Delia.

This is the first AHL recall for Milic who is under AHL contract this season.

I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
