The Moose have now won six straight games including a 3-2 win over the Wolves this weekend. They put that behind them as they get set to face off against the Senators tomorrow morning in the first school day game of the season. Sounds like there could be 7000 thousand screaming kids enjoying a day off school and some AHL hockey.

Skate news:

Pair of Jets prospects in Jacob Julien and Fabian Wagner were skating in yellow, non-contact uniforms today. That wasn’t unexpected but a good sign that the two participated in a full practice with the team.

Worth noting that the D pairs were jumbled with Tyrel Bauer skating with Isaac Phillips while Elias Salomonsson was with Dylan Anhorn. I suspect it’s precautionary in case Salomonsson gets called up.

They didn’t do line rushes today but this is based on last game against the Wolves.

Projected lines & D pairs:

Di Giuseppe – Yager – Fagemo
Barlow – Zhilkin – JAD
Chibrikov – Ford – Lambert
Shaw – Gustafsson – Duehr

Heinola – Clague
Phillips – Salomonsson*
Sautner – Frisch

DiVincentiis

Would expect Bauer to play in this spot if the Jets do end up calling Salomonsson up.

Up next:

The Moose will face the Senators tomorrow morning with puck drop at 10:30 AM CST.
