The Moose hit the ice for a final day of practice before they head out on the road for six games starting in Grand Rapids. It’s a bit of an unusual trip as the team will return to Winnipeg after they conclude the second game against the Griffins to practice here before heading back out on the road next Thursday.

Only question was whether or not the Jets would make a recall given the uncertainty surrounding Cole Koepke. Since Jets skate in Philly got going earlier than the Moose in Winnipeg we learned via Ken Wiebe that both Haydn Fleury and Cole Koepke were skating.

Over on another rink:

The IR skate continues to roll along as Adam Lowry and Dylan Samberg  keep training in Winnipeg as they work back from injury. Samberg still not using left hand during these times.

Skate news:

They continued to do some special teams work and then got into line rushes today at skate with everyone present and accounted for.
