The Moose would conclude three days of practice today at hockey for all centre as they get ready for a five-game road trip which begins this week in Texas. For now they look to rebound from a tough weekend of special teams which saw them give up four power play goals on six penalty kill opportunities and not get one goal PP goal themselves during 10 chances against the Admirals.
Skate news:
Only players missing were Jets prospects Chaz Lucius and Danny Zhilkin. Fellow prospect Brad Lambert looked like he tweaked something in his leg at the end of practice but after stretching it out he seemed fine.

Health update:
Bench boss Mark Morrison indicated that Danny Zhilkin was dealing with a knee issue and that he is “gonna be another three or four weeks” rehabbing it. With Chaz Lucius he’s listed as “day-to-day” with the head coach saying “when he’s ready he’ll come back in. So right now he’s just taking some time off”. Seems like it’s simply part of the ice time management that the team has in place for the Jets prospect. He did say it was questionable as to whether Lucius would make the trip.
