After earning a split with the IceHogs this past weekend the Moose took Monday off and returned to the ice today for practice as they get ready for their next two-game set this weekend against the Admirals.

Skate news:

No C.J. Suess today as he blocked a shot in Sunday’s win and was in some pain. Unfortunate as he had two goals this weekend. On the flip side of things Tyrel Bauer who missed the last four games due to a back issue was on the ice for skate.

Health update:

C.J. Suess is day-to-day as per head coach Mark Morrison although he expects him in practice tomorrow. Said today was maintenance for him.

Suspension:

The AHL announced today that Tyson Empey has been suspended for two games for an illegal check to the head in Sunday’s game. He had been give a five minute major and a 10 minute misconduct as a result of the hit.
